This course will teach you everything you need to know about your body, exercise and nutrition to make positive changes for your personal health. There is so much information out there on healthy living currently (good and bad) and it is very hard to find advice you can tust. We have therefore created a course which brings together credible scientific research, with lifestyle advice from respected industry experts. 

We start by introducing the benefits of exercise and nutrition and the risks of living an inactive lifestyle. We then go in-depth about how the human body actually works and the different systems which are crucial to our health. With this foundation knowledge you can then learn all about how exercise and nutrition contribute to a healthy lifestyle. To finish off the course we look at wider components of health, such as stress and sleep, and teach you how to develop a sustainable health and fitness programme for yourself.

It is designed as a guide to help anyone improve their general health and wellbeing, so if you want to learn more about fitness, nutrition and personal health... this course is for you!


This course is assessed through a series of multiple choice quizzes at the end of each unit. These assessments are not to 'pass or fail' you, but to test the knowledge you have learnt and encourage you to re-read the materials if the knowledge hasn't sunk in yet. 

This is not a qualification so you will still be able to progress with the course even if you get some of the assessment questions wrong
